How the shop works

We recommend, we don't sell (mostly)

Plant Sensei is a teacher first. The shop exists so that when Sensei says "this pot has no drainage" or "your Monstera would like a moss pole", you can find a sensible option without wading through a marketplace. We don't hold inventory, take your payment, or ship anything for products from other retailers.

Products marked Affiliate link to an outside retailer. If you buy through one of those links, Plant Sensei may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That commission helps keep the app, the courses and Sensei's voice running.

Commission never decides what we recommend. Every product in the shop is chosen because it fits a real care need Sensei teaches about — drainage, light, humidity, pests, soil, learning or simply feeling closer to your plants. Products without an affiliate tag earn us nothing; we list them because they're worth knowing about.

Where the commission goes: the Lucky Spin

We don't pocket affiliate money and call it a day — we put it back into member fun. Commissions from the shop fund the Sensei's Lucky Spin giveaway: once the shop has earned enough to cover a prize, Sensei spins the wheel and one member wins. Every member already has a number, so you're in the draw automatically — no purchase needed to enter, ever.

Plant Sensei's own resources

Some items — care cards, reference charts, meditations — are made by Plant Sensei. Free downloads are marked as such and open directly. Anything paid will be clearly labeled before you're ever asked to pay.

Prices shown are the last we saw and may differ from the retailer's page. Availability, shipping, returns and customer service for affiliate products are handled entirely by the retailer you buy from.
