Plant Sensei is an educational plant-care application: it helps you identify houseplants, assess light, soil, and health from photos and readings, and teaches you to care for your plants yourself. Content includes plant information, courses, audio teaching, community features, and a shop containing affiliate links to third-party sellers.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected plan. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance.

You must not misuse the service. This includes, without limitation:

• using the service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or to send spam;
• infringing intellectual-property rights, including uploading content you have no right to use;
• interfering with security or integrity — malware, probing, scanning, scraping, or circumventing technical limits;
• reverse engineering, reselling, or redistributing the service or its content.

Plant Sensei uses AI to identify plants and generate care guidance. Outputs may be inaccurate. Plant Sensei never gives definitive diagnoses — treat AI guidance as education, not professional horticultural, medical, or veterinary advice, and verify anything important before acting on it. You are responsible for the photos and prompts you submit, for how you use outputs, and for having the rights to any content you upload.

You must not use AI features to create illegal content, deepfakes, hate speech, or malware, or to attempt to bypass the model's safeguards. We may remove or restrict content, refuse or filter outputs, and suspend accounts that repeatedly infringe others' rights.

American Sangha retains all ownership of the service and its intellectual property, including software, documentation, course content, and branding. You retain ownership of content you upload; you grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the service. Rights holders may report infringement via our Idea Garden page and we will investigate and remove infringing material.

You must provide accurate information and keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. See our Refund Policy.

Payments are processed securely by our payment provider. Applicable taxes are calculated and collected at checkout where required by law, based on your location.

Our shop links to third-party sellers (for example via affiliate links). We do not sell, stock, or ship those products; purchases are made with the third-party seller under their own terms. Affiliate commissions help fund the service, including member giveaways.

The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill). Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such limitation is not permitted by law.

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When access ends, you may request an export of your data for 30 days, after which it may be deleted. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, and disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, unlawful use, or breach of these terms.
